Will you match a competitor's price?
No. For the service we offer your be hard pushed to find a better deal, especially on the design and promotion side alone. On the hosting side we don't overload our servers by cramming in lots of cheap £5/per month plans with unlimited everything! as this is just not possible. Our servers have limits just like others and as such our prices reflect this whilst still staying very competitive.
My order wasn't setup immediately. What should I do?
Orders are manually processed and a member of staff will be in contact if any additional information is required, if not your order will be completed as soon as possible, there is no need to contacts us, unless you have not recieved confirmation after 3 working days ( excluding bank holidays ). If you need to contact us in the mean time send a email to enquiries@i4web.co.uk and we try and respond asap.
Do I need to have a domain name picked out and registered before I submit my order?
Picked out: Yes
Registered: No
When you place an order, the order form will ask you to enter a domain name for your new account. Our web servers will be configured to work with this domain name when your account is provisioned. If you would like to change the primary domain name on your account, you can do so by sending a request to our customer service department.
You do not, however, need to have this domain name registered before you place an order. If you do not yet own the domain name, you should make sure to verify that the domain name is actually available and not already in use. Using the domain checker on site.
What if I need more space and bandwidth?
We have plenty of space and most accounts only run at around 10-15% of what they are capable of. In the unlikely event you need more contacts us to discuss your requirements
Who made your website?
We made our own website, if there is any way we can make it better please let us know.
Do you make websites for people?
Yes, as part of our design package.
Do you promote websites for people?
Yes, as part of our design package your site is automatically included into our online promotion package.
Do you optimise websites for people?
Yes, as part of our design package we write the site to be search engine friendly and ensuring that the most relevant content is picked up by search engines, we will not reveal all the techniques we use as this is part of our service.
What maintence do you do?
Our maintence incorporates every aspect of a websites smooth running and includes updates to servers, databases, scripts, promotion and more to ensure that we provide you with the best quality package available, most maintence work is run in the back ground and does not require any down time for your website. In the invent that the servers need to be down for maintence work this will be done as quickly as possible and at a non-peak time. Where possible you will be emailed about any planned downtime.
Do you do regular backups of my account?
Yes, we perform nightly backups on all accounts, for sites designed by i4web a master copy of the site is backed up containg any changes we have made. For hosting only plans nightly backups are still made, but don't count on our backups alone! Your website is important, and you are the one ultimately responsible for ensuring that your data is backed up!
Will you install my programs and scripts for me?
Yes, this is normally done as part of the design package, If you just have an hosting plan, we will do a standard install but then the modification is upto you. You can upgrade to a design plan if you require.
Do you sell domain names or do I have to buy my domain from another company?
We don't sell them on there own currently, but we do supply them with new design / hosting packages, if your not transfering one you already own.
Will you send me spam? Do you have a privacy policy?
No. We spend countless hours combating spam. It doesn't make much sense for us to turn around and send unsolicited mail ourselves.
If you are a spammer and you are on the fence about sending spam to us, please don't... We can guarantee that no one at i4Web wants to refinance their home mortgage through some random email they got where the sender's name does not include any vowels, so you can save a little bandwidth by leaving us off of your list.
